At OWS Foods, we pride ourselves in being able to supply our customers with the highest quality products, packaging and service. While we strive to control our costs through strategic sourcing and efficiency in our operations some of these are beyond our control and require the pricing action we have outlined below, which is also the first time in over 5 years that OWS has taken an across the board price increase. We value the long-term relationships we have with our customers and will do everything we can to maintain your partnership and trust with us as a supplier.

This communication will serve as a notification of the pricing adjustment that will take place July 1st, 2021 and allows you a 20-day notice before the price change takes effect.

The pricing action will reflect a 12% increase in your wholesale cost beginning on that date.

As you can see we are not passing the entire increase to you but rather sharing in this burden.

We have listed below the rationale/justification for the pricing action for reference as I am sure that you are seeing some of the rising costs we have listed below in your own business.

 Materials +24.3%

 Packaging +30.9%

 Logistics +44.4%

 Labor +15.4%

 Total + 26.6% (weighted average) OWS Foods will also be implementing guidelines on PO’s issued during the notice period that allows for only a typical 30 day level of inventory based on recent historicals for your specific business.
