Hey Grill Hey
Susie Bulloch started her career in BBQ several years ago when a neighbor asked her to help write and develop recipes for his company’s blog.
That company turned out to be one of the biggest wood-fired grill manufacturers around and Susie was slightly apprehensive. She had a lot of experience eating meat (her family owned a steakhouse that she worked at) but not a ton of experience with grilling, especially over a wood fire.
In fact, the only grill she had access to at that time was a free propane piece of work that she got off of Craigslist. So…. yes. Apprehensive is a good word. But Susie said yes anyway and started on the path that would become her passion and change her life.
Her approach has always been to remove the guesswork and intimidation factor from grilling and smoking. Each of her recipes are written for herself, 7 years ago, when she first lit a fire and tossed a big piece of meat on the grill.
This approach has served her well over the years and she's been incredibly blessed with so many opportunities to expand my skills. Susie has appeared on TV to share her recipes, taught BBQ and grilling classes to hundreds, got her name on two separate grilling Guinness World Records.
